What’s required before starting website Development?
There are two important things you need to have before we can start website Development:
- Domain Name
- Hosting Server
(Note: If you do not have web hosting or domain yet, I can still start work by developing your website on staging domain on Local Host. Once it’s complete we can migrate website files and database to your hosting and connect with your domain.)
Domain Name
Domain Name is the unique address of your website. Your customers can find your website through your domain name. As an example: khawais.com is the domain name of my website.
I have found Dynadot to be the most economical Domain provider and they provide basic security as well within domain cost unlike Godaddy and other providers who overcharge their customers on the name of Domain Security.
Web Hosting
It’s a place where your website files and Database will be hosted. We can say it’s the computer or server which will remain on 24/7 to keep your website Live all the time.
There are many Hosting Providers but instead of listing down all, I will just suggest 3 popular and good ones so you can choose according to your budget.
- Cloudways (If you have a good budget and are looking for great loading performance, you can go for it)
- Siteground (For those who have reasonable budget and are looking for easy user interface to manage files and other stuff on hosting. Their prices have increased unacceptably last year but their performance is still better than other shared Hostings like Godaddy, Bluehost, Hostgator)
- Hostgator (Recommended for new Businesses’ or small Blog Sites. Very economical pricing for first 3 years. )
